Playoffs

Rules

- RFL playoff format is set up almost identically to that of the NFL.
- The seven playoff teams from each conference will compete in a wildcard round, a divisional round, and a championship round, with each round consisting of only one contest. The eventual winner of each conference will advance to play the other conference champ in the Rhino Bowl.
- The top seed in each conference will receive a bye for the wildcard round.
- For each round, the top half of scores will advance, while the bottom half will be eliminated.
- For each round except for the Rhino Bowl, teams with a top half seed (i.e., seeds #2, #3, and #4 for the wildcard round) will receive a 3 point “home field advantage” bonus.
